New York Geriatric Care Manager Beverly Kubala
Beverly Kubala, an aging care manager, founded Geriatric Care Managers of West New York in 2004 and serves as its President. Beverly is a hands-on geriatric care manager with significant experience and expertise. She has served as a counselor and advocate for families in navigating the confusing world of healthcare, social services, and payment options for seniors.
Ms. Kubala has over 35 years experience as a Registered Professional Nurse. Her specialties are acute care, substance abuse, home care, as well as in long-term care. Beverly is a member of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers. In addition, she is a Certified Care Manager with nearly a decade of experience as a Geriatric Care Manager.
Moreover, Beverly’s experience includes managing homecare agencies and overseeing admissions to one of the region’s premier senior care communities. Indeed, that is providing her with valuable insight into available local services for seniors. Furthermore, she is active in many senior organizations and currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Presbyterian Senior Care. Currently a board member of Network in Aging of WNY, Beverly previously served as its President. Ms. Kubala is also past President of the Board of Directors of Alcohol and Drug Dependency Services. She regularly works with the local chapters of the Alzheimer’s Association and the Multiple Sclerosis Society, as well as with caregiver support groups.
In 2008, Network in Aging of WNY awarded Beverly Kubala the Dr. Evan Calkins Award for Meritorious Service to the field of Aging in Western New York.
