Meet Aging Care Manager Carolyn Glickstein
For the past 15 years, Carolyn Glickstein has worked as a Geriatric Care Manager in private practice because she loves helping others. Carolyn provides guidance and support for seniors and their families in Manhattan and Westchester. As a result, Caryoly brings strong local knowledge and connections to her clients. She has been actively involved in a variety of nonprofit organizations in different capacities because she values community. For example, the Scarsdale-Edgemont Family Counseling Service (board president 1998-2000), a voluntary, not-for-profit family counseling Agency. Scarsdale provides services where families, couples, and individuals can find help with the normal problems of daily living. In addition, they work to enhance family functioning and its individual family members with life education classes because of the great feedback they recieved. The Westchester Fund for Women and Girls (chair 2001-02), the Northern Westchester Shelter, Inc. and the Women’s Enterprise Development Center (2009-present) are other examples.
Carolyn Glickstein earned her bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from Boston University. She went on to earn her master’s degree in marriage, family, and child counseling from the University of San Francisco. She is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers. Carolyn resides in Manhattan.
