Elizabeth Farrell Geriatric Counseling
Elizabeth Farrell is a Social Worker with a specialization in geriatrics. She has extensive experience working within the areas of mental and physical health, Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Substance Abuse, Traumatic Brain Injury, HIV/AIDS, Cancer, and has worked extensively with veterans. This diverse field-experience enables Liz to serve a wide range of clients effectively.
Liz gained a wealth of knowledge and grew a list of the best community based resources during her years of work in the field. She always held a passion for working with older adults, but really cultivated this while earning her bachelors degree in social work and interning at a non-profit assisting older adults aging and living independently. Geriatric Care Management affords Liz the opportunity to continue this valuable work in the community.
Liz holds a Master’s of Social Work from Adelphi University. Additionally, she earned a specialization in Geriatrics through the Harford Partnership Program for Aging Education.
Liz has years of hands-on experience working with mental and physical health, Alzheimer’s and Dementia case work. Also, she has skills to work with substance abuse, brain Injury, and cancer patients.
