Geriatric Care Management
Hannah Shuman, a social worker in New York, takes pride in her work to help seniors live healthier lives. Ms. Shuman worked as a Geriatric Social Worker at the Sirovich Center for Balanced Living, an innovative community center run by the Educational Alliance. There she served the diverse population of the Lower East Side, managing a large caseload of isolated clients. Prior to this, Hannah worked as a Clinical Social Work Intern at nonprofit organizations such as the Actors Fund and Inwood House in Midtown Manhattan. She also worked at the Carter Burden Network as a Case Worker and coordinated the Meals-on-Wheels program for homebound seniors in Upper Manhattan.

In addition, Hannah provides supportive mental health counseling services to help clients overcome difficult life transitions, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, and relationship challenges.
