Jennifer Batra Geriatric Care Manager
Jennifer Batra is a Social Worker in New York that gets a lot of joy from helping seniors. Ms. Batra studied Aging at Boston University and at The Geriatric Mental Health Alliance of New York. Additionally, Jennifer is trained in Mental Health First Aid for Older Adults and A Matter of Balance-Falls Prevention Program through LiveOn NY.
Because of her work with aging adults with disabilities in Boston, MA, she loves to help her clients live the best life they can and help them to age in place. As a result, Jennifer is a great resource for seniors that wish to live independently and in their own homes longer. Further, she previously worked with Heights and Hills Park Slope Center for Successful Aging and NYC Health and Hospitals where she was able to work with local agencies to build better health care plans, provide the best counseling to adults in need, crisis intervention and help with discharge plans.
Jennifer holds a Masters in Social Work from the University of Southern California Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband, young daughter, and two cats.
