New Jersey Geriatric Care Manager Patricia Preztunik
Patricia Preztunik opened her BrightStar business in 2009, following a long business career as a consultant. Priorly, she spent decades focus on how technology can improve organizations and client services. Patricia also spent many years in community activities, working with high school students across New Jersey. In that role, she helped students understand group dynamics, public speaking, and develop communication skills.
Patricia continues to make client service the core of her health care service firm. With nurses, aides and therapists, they customize each client’s service plan. Furthermore, they achieved accreditation from The Joint Commission in early 2011, and maintain that status for both personal and skilled care.
BrightStar Care was founded in 2002. Since then, the company has experienced years of national excellence and has grown to over 300 locations in 38 states. They bring deeply embedded concepts of person-centeredness and higher standards throughout all operational policies and procedures tools, training and resources. In addition, this approach earned them accreditation on the home care side from one of the nation’s oldest, largest and most respected accrediting bodies in healthcare, The Joint Commission.
