Aging Care Manager in CT
Sheila O’Brien brings more than twenty years of healthcare experience in the nursing, home care and care management fields. Prior to opening O’Brien Care Management Services, LLC, Sheila served as a Regional Manager for Koved Care in New York City. While there, she was responsible for establishing the company’s operations on the East Coast, managed all staff, provided private case management services for clients, and coordinated all aspects of care with an interdisciplinary approach.
Sheila’s other career highlights include extensive home care experience as a case manager; assisting with all invasive cardiac procedures as nurse at St. Vincent’s Medical Center; providing clinical assessments and personal care as primary nurse at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, MA.
Sheila now owns and operates O’Brien Care Management Services, LLC. Both her and her team of nurse care managers work closely with clients who face geriatric and/or psychiatric challenges. In addition, the team helps clients and their families navigate through the very complex medical world. Further on, they can manage their homes in a safe and efficient manner, help find their next place to live, if needed, and so much more.
Sheila earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree from Fairfield University. She holds licenses in the states of Connecticut and New York as a Registered Nurse and holds certification as a Certified Care Manager through the NACCM. She serves on the Board of Trustees for St. Vincent’s College in Bridgeport, CT.
